Chevrolet Silverado 1500 & Colorado Work Trucks in Portland, Maine

Not every job needs a heavy-duty truck. For supervisors, estimators, property managers and crews that haul tools rather than tonnage, a Silverado 1500 or Colorado costs less to buy, less to fuel and fits in a Portland parking space.

WT trims keep the price where a business needs it, and Chevrolet Accessories - eligible for Business Choice allowances for qualifying small businesses - help fit the truck to the job. Ratings vary widely with engine and configuration, so ask us for the exact payload and towing figures of the truck you are looking at.

Light Duty Trucks FAQs

Is a half-ton enough for my business?

If the truck mostly carries people, tools and light material, usually yes. If it will carry a body or a plow, or tow heavy equipment most days, look at the Silverado HD instead. Tell us what a normal week looks like and we will point you at the right truck.

Silverado 1500 or Colorado?

The Silverado 1500 gives you a full-size bed, more cab choices and more towing. The Colorado is shorter, easier to park and cheaper to run - a good fit for estimators, inspectors and in-town service work.

Do business buyers get anything extra on a light duty truck?

Chevrolet Business Choice offers allowances to small business owners who buy eligible Chevrolet Accessories to upfit their fleet vehicles, and a GM Fleet Account Number opens fleet incentives and programs. Offers change, so check current commercial specials or ask our commercial team.

Program benefits and incentives are set by the manufacturer and are subject to change and eligibility. Business Choice allowances apply to eligible Chevrolet Accessories, vehicles and business customers only. Equipment from independent suppliers is not covered by the GM New Vehicle Limited Warranty. GM is not responsible for the safety or quality of independent supplier alterations. Towing, payload and GVWR figures are maximums for properly equipped vehicles; ratings for a specific vehicle depend on its configuration. Tax information is general - consult your tax advisor.
